Purpose

The Mukwonago Area Soccer Club Select Program is designed for players who are motivated to grow, compete, and challenge themselves in a more demanding soccer environment. The purpose of the program is to provide a higher level of training and competition that supports long-term player development while fostering a strong sense of teamwork, discipline, and commitment.

Through structured practices and competitive play, the Select Program helps players develop advanced technical skills, tactical understanding, and game awareness. Just as importantly, the program emphasizes sportsmanship, accountability, resilience, and confidence, preparing athletes not only for success on the field but also for personal growth off the field.

General Info

Player Focus: For athletes seeking a competitive soccer experience beyond recreational play
Coaching: Teams are led by experienced coaches focused on technical, tactical, and personal development
Training Schedule: Teams practice 2–3 times per week during the season
Games: League matches are typically played on weekends
Tournaments: Teams participate in 2–3 tournaments per season
Winter Training: Select teams participate in winter training to maintain and build skills during the off-season. This can include indoor / futsal sessions
Competition Format by Age:
- U11–U12: 9v9 with goalkeeper
- U13–U19: 11v11 full-field play
Season Structure: Focuses on advanced skill development, tactical awareness, and consistent growth, challenging players to reach higher levels of performance while maintaining a disciplined, competitive, and positive environment.
Equipment: Players receive a club training kit and are expected to bring a ball, shin guards, and a strong work ethic to each session.
Tryouts: Annual tryouts are required for placement on Select teams

The Select Program fees for the 2026-2027 season varies by age group/ level:
- U11/12 – $1,100
- U13/14 – $1,250
- U13/14 State League Teams – $1,500
- High School – $900
Fees generally include:
- Practice shirt and headband
- Club and league registration fees
- State association fees
- Tournament entry fees
Uniforms (home and away jersey, shorts, socks) are not included and must be purchased separately
